In this sermon on Genesis 19, we explore the story of Sodom and the seriousness of sin. Sin is insidious, creeping into our lives and affecting us in ways we may not even realize. We see how Lot, though righteous, was compromised by his environment, and how the people of Sodom’s depravity led to their destruction. Yet, even in the darkest moments, God’s grace is evident, as He rescues Lot, showing that salvation is not based on our worst moments but on faith in Jesus. Sin is serious, but Jesus has rescued us, and we are saved through His righteousness, not our own.
