We're So Glad You're Here
We'd Love to Introduce Ourselves

Biblical

We are deeply aware of the temptation to speak for God, rather than to let Him speak for Himself. This is why God's word sets the agenda and we preach through whole books of the Bible verse-by-verse.

Family-oriented

At Redeemer we are committed to not separating our small children from the rest of the congregation. This can make our meetings a little noisier but the benefit is that children are included from the earliest times as part of the one church. A cry room is available as well.

Reformed by Conviction

We hold to the historic Reformed creeds and confessions. Many Christians have never come across the word "reformed" and don't know what it means. Don't be put off. We're happy to explain, but the short version is that we believe that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Our Services

Our services are contemporary in style but sensitive to tradition. You'll notice a mix of newer songs and traditional hymns. We pause in silence to confess our sins, and we have a time of open prayer. Our meetings are aimed at those who already believe but are designed to be approachable by those who have not put their trust in Jesus yet.

Our Denomination

We are part of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia which hold to the three ecumenical standards and the belgic confession, the Heidelberg catechism, and the Canons of Dort.

Get Involved

Life Groups

We have life groups (our small group ministry) that meet on a weekly or fortnightly basis. These groups meet to share a meal and discuss the Bible generally around the sermon text for that week.

Youth

Youth group is for ages 12-18 and runs weekly at the Connect Centre (21 Wilmot Road) from 6-8:15pm. Dinner is provided. The youth play games, eat a meal that they prepare together, and study the Bible.

Prayer Meetings

We have a number of prayer meetings held weekly. Sunday morning at 9:30 am for everyone. Wednesday morning at 6:45am for men (DS Cafe), and 9am for women (at the Connect Centre).
