In this message we explore Revelation 12:1–17 and discover how the church holds fast to the victory Jesus has already won. John’s vision reveals our real enemy: Satan, the dragon who works through deception, accusation, and persecution. Recognising the spiritual battle helps us resist his lies, stand firm in Scripture, and love and pray for those who oppose us. Though the enemy still rages, Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension have secured his defeat.

We also discover what it means to overcome through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Our victory rests in Christ’s finished work, and we are called to openly confess our faith and remain faithful, whatever the cost. Even when faithfulness looks like defeat, God preserves his people. We can face opposition with confidence because Jesus has already won.
